The Israeli Air Force Innovation team is the hub for innovation projects in the IAF. Our role can be divided into two categories: (1) internal innovation - enabling air force personnel to develop innovative ideas, and (2) open innovation - collaboration with startups to meet IAF needs in new and creative ways.

Collaboration with startups is an effective way for the IAF to implement new, ready-to-use industry solutions in a cost-effective manner.
Specific technologies we are interested in promoting include AR/VR, additive manufacturing (3d printing), alternative fuels, drones, NLP/LLM, and soft-defense solutions (spectrum).
