During a couple of weeks in April 2018, monday.com have collaborated with a company called Chegg on a unique project. It was a project for sharing cultural and professional expertise. We did this by exchanging an employee to work full time in his counterpart’s shoes. He learned about engineering processes and figured out what each company does right, and where it can improve.
This week on our podcast, Lior Krengel speakers with Daniel Lereya, VP R&D at monday.com, and Rodik Hanukaev, a full-stack developer at Chegg to reflect on this experience. They discussed the challenge in translating personal experience into concrete learning, the importance of setting goals for such a project, and the actual outcomes we achieved from it.
