We are a creative, stealth mode startup on a mission to create market-network for designers all around the world - to help them express their creativity and do the things they best at. And while doing that, we are helping businesses all over the world to utilize the design services to the max.
Designers are not businessmen. They are not taught anything about profit margins, marketing techniques, or contract agreements in their time at school. But what is quickly realized by most designers is that financial literacy and business knowledge is essential to developing an emerging brand, without them, there’s no way to break into the industry. Here, designers are forced to make a decision: stifle their creativity to learn how to be businessmen and build a brand, become a junior to another artist, or use their degree for unrelated work. CILA comes in as the middle man between these large, established corporate design companies and the fashion designers looking to start building a brand for their one of a kind designs. CILA’s market network is designed to target this problem in three ways: Providing a marketplace where designers could sell their pieces, connect to a global consumer base, connect to businesses/enterprises looking for freelance design work, and have product pricing and payment methods/transactions handled for them. Creating a service base where CILA hired professionals to aid designers in their business ventures so all the logistical essentials for building a brand are in one place for a designer. Services will include, but are not limited to: accounting/financial management, business consultation/brand building, contracts and IP legalities, material sourcing, product advertising. Growing a community of designers through an online network where artists could: interact/network with each other, share information about projects, exhibits, and potential work, collaborate, receive artistic support. CILA is looking for a co-founder CTO to join our founding team! We are a creative, stealth mode startup on a mission to create a market-network for designers all around the world - to help them express their creativity and do the things they are best at. And while doing that, we are helping businesses all over the world to utilize the design services to the max. We are looking for a person who is keen on making a huge difference in the field of design services around the world. This person needs to understand the challenges of developing an idea and growing it into a successful company. We currently have design partners, MVP definition, and a loaded validated roadmap. We want you to have: Business, product and SW expertise Experience in building scalable infrastructures based in the cloud (AWS, Azure or GCP) Experience in software development of backend services (Such as: Go, Python, NodeJS, Java, Kotlin) Experience in working with databases including ETL design, implementation and maintenance It would be a bonus if you have one or more of the following: Experience in data modelling, analysis and insight-driven approach with machine learning and AI Experience with designing and implementing real-time pipelines Experience in web frontend development Until funding is secured, this is not a paid position.
