New years is a time of new beginnings. Whether it’s the first capital or first office – new beginnings are something every startup experiences in its journey.
One of the most exciting new beginnings for us occurred in November 2017, when we changed our name from Dapulse to monday.com.
To celebrate the New Year, we are going back to episode 78, where we talked about our decision to change our name. A nontrivial move considering that at the time, the company already had 17k paying customers and $17M in revenue. Also, every time the idea came up before, it was met with a lot of objections.
In the episode, Lior Krengel speaks with Eran Zinman and Roy Man, Co-Founders and CEOs of monday. They talked about the considerations leading us to this change, how we dealt with the concerns and objections, and how we made it accessible to both employees and customers.
