Data is one of monday.com’s most important growth engines. Our Big Brain team was founded for this reason: to build data analysis tools for all departments. But when we saw that only 30% of the company was taking advantage of these tools, we realized that there was a gap between the quality of the data and the employee’s ability to work with it.
How can we bridge such a gap? How can we make data analysis accessible to people from different disciplines? How can we teach people to utilize data in their daily work?
One possible solution grew from the bottom up. Stav Levi, Full Stack Developer on monday.com’s Big Brain team, shares how she, alongside mobile designer Shani Frenkel and product manager Shirley Baumer, founded the Data School initiative – a data analysis program inside monday.com, in which employees across all departments attend a 10 class course to learn how to ask the right questions, draw conclusions, and tell a story through data.
