At the end of March, in the heart of the Covid-19 madness, we held a virtual conference on making design simple. With 322 people attending, 70 percent arrival, two engaging conversations, and a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from participants – the conference was a real success.
So how does one create a physical, real conference feeling when each of the participants is viewing remotely? What adjustments should we make to the content to best fit an online setting? And what does the process of producing such a conference look like?
This week we are delighted to share insights from our own team. Lior Krengel, Head of Startup for Startup initiative, and Dror Adi, Project Manager, walk us through all the steps we went through. They provide practical tools for anyone interested in producing an online conference in the future – from selecting a location (yes, the location is important here, too) to the actions that help to generate great audience engagement throughout the event.
