You know how you see something in a film and then it becomes real? In sci-fi films it happens all the time. Motion imaging, futuristic user interfaces…things that years later are used daily without awe (the movie Minority Report pops to mind).
Now imagine using the same technique to take a product years ahead.
This is where the idea of vision videos comes from. It’s a tool that enables us to turn the imagination of different teams at monday.com to be something tangible. What appears in the videos is a vision of the future – the features don’t yet exist, and still, they spring to life in front of all monday.com employees.
This week, Sagie Huberman – motion designer @monday.com, joins Roy Mann and Lior Krengel. They talk about experimenting with a tool – motion design – that became an inseparable part of the product’s planning and a super effective way to align all of the company on future development directions.
