A resume is such a short document that should explain so much about us. Like it or not, the CV has a big impact on our chances of moving on to the next screening step – the job interview. In the recent period, the number of candidates has dramatically increased and the number of open positions in the market has decreased. So we wanted to take a moment, focus on this initial screening stage, and understand how we can make sure that our resume brings us maximum results.
What does the CV screening process look like from the recruiter’s point-of-view? Is there only one “right” format for a resume? And how can we help recruiters understand how well we suit for a role based on our resume?
In this week’s Recap episode we are talking to Shaked Mizrahi, Noy Gurevitz, and Daniel Weisblat, HRBP’s of the Marketing, Product, and R&D departments at monday.com. They share how the CV screening process looks like from their perspective, answer frequently asked questions on the subject, and tell us how we can make sure that the answer we receive from the recruiter, whether positive or negative, will be based solely on how well we suit the role, and not on technical mistakes in our resume.
